A Review by Tanner Simmons:
Yeddie In The Woods may have just put out one of the most
lighthearted and unique musical efforts I've ever heard, especially
out of the local music scene. Insane Shane features unique and
heartfelt lyrical topics such as pop-tart obsessed co-workers, pet
cats, mustard clowns, and the power of sheer optimism. The album
also features 2 songs by Laura K Balke with guitar tracks done by
Eddie Lee himself. I had a hard time keeping this album off repeat
the first time I sat down to listen to it. It's first track "Brown
Sugar and Cinnamon" hooked me with it's loud, bouncy sound and it's
wavering vocal section. The spoken word section at the end had me
rolling. The second track "Moon Paws" had me going with it's rowdy
chorus section. The song took on the form of a cat and actually
slapped me in the face. I was clapping along to the entire thing.
"Mustard Clown" has a big Tom Waits feel to it that conveys the
bluesy ramblings of, well...a clown. I thoroughly enjoy the
harmonica and acoustic accompaniment here. "One Of These Days"
sticks out with it's prominent (and badass) bassline. It also
features a banjo. Need I say more? This album is currently name
your price at the link below, but be sure to support your local
talent! Throw a buck or two, you won't be sorry you did!

About the album from EddieLee:
This ep was suppose to feature 3 tracks primarily about Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Pop Tarts. A rap style song, a metal one and an off the wall kinda of a track. As time marched on and shows and practice came up. I had to march on as well. This ep Insane Shane is entitled after a coworker of mine. The first track is for him and his love for brown sugar and cinnamon pop tarts. The second track is about my cat Howard Moon. Ill vouch for him and say hes damn fine kitty. The third track is from Bro Be Q 2012 (Boat Night Port Huron, MI), it was where I seen the Mustard Clown for the first time. Lukas Hernadez is a friend of mine and a fellow musician. Check out Lutendo, his wacky solo project. Track five is two Laura K Balke tunes I track guitar over. I've played about 4 shows with the Indianian musicians while they were around on tour, check them out. Well hope you like it and hope your day is well. Thank you for listening.
